Care: The fabric is not waterproof. If the fabric becomes dirty, remove the dirt with a brush or damp cloth. It is advisable to store the parasol in an unheated room such as a garage or cellar. To avoid marks and stains it is important to ensure that the parasol is completely dry before storing it. Use soapy water and wipe the pole with a dry cloth. The parasol pole has been oiled and should be re-oiled on a regular basis otherwise it will lose some of its warm glow. Remember to retighten the metal screw joint on the parasol pole from time to time; making sure the two parts are not loosening up and tilting. During the winter it is advisable to store the parasol pole in an unheated room such as a garage or cellar. However, it is possible to leave the parasol pole outside all year round if using a cover.
