Care Instructions: Ensure the longevity of your Le Creuset cast iron grill plate with these simple care and maintenance tips. Before first use, unpack and wash your product with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. When cooking, always use oven gloves for protection. To preserve the surface, use Le Creuset Silicone Tools or heat-resistant wooden/plastic tools. For best results, cook on a medium or low heat, gradually allowing the product to heat up for even cooking. Avoid using the wrong-sized hob ring, especially on induction hobs, as it may prevent the hob from recognizing the product. Always lift the grill plate rather than sliding it on glass-topped hobs to prevent damage. After cooking, allow the grill plate to cool before cleaning. For stubborn food, soak it in warm, soapy water for 15–20 minutes before washing. Never use abrasive cleaners or harsh brushes, and dry it thoroughly before storing it in a dry place.
