Kings was originally created in the 1830's by John and Henry Lias of London. They were famous for their opulent designs, which often included Rococo decoration, shells and foliate scrolls. Kings is a more simple and elegant version of the more elaborate Queens design and includes honeysuckle flowers and shell motifs. The pattern is more traditional in style and is widely recognised as one of the most fabulous examples of traditional British cutlery design.
