The block is made of beech wood and the slots have been cut all the way through to enable easy cleaning and to protect the blades. There are silicone pads on the base to protect the countertop. This beech wood block comes with the following knives, all with Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel full tang blades and P.O.M with fibreglass reinforced handles.
