Thin brown line work painted atop a linen fabric backing creates the composition of Antic Ideal 01 by the Marseille-based artist Avrandinis. The forms of abstracted vases and female figures intertwine and overlap, creating a rich yet simple series of lines. Graphically strong, yet soft in expression, the work allows space for ideas to grow within forms that are completed by natural pigments and textures.
