La Mère, the first ceramic tableware line of Marie Michielssen, is a loving ode to the (grand-)mother figure and women in general. The La Mère Set of 2 Deep Plates looks slightly nostalgic but is, in many ways, innovative because of its vertical structure. Its shape is unique and hand-moulded. All La Mère pieces are finished with a glaze in broken white.
