The Wedding Present Company's Bridesmaids Bash

Lex Hamilton created the stunning florals for our Bridesmaids Bash. Lex truly believes that flowers should represent the couple she's working with. Every event the studio creates is bespoke and Lex and the team work closely with their couples to bring their vision to life. Lex continues to surprise us and shows us that flowers elevate a space in a way that nothing else can, the incredible transformation of our staircase is a perfect example.

In true WPC style, we greeted all our guests with a glass of Nyetimber, our go to for English sparkling wine, before moving on to cocktails. The Drunken Jockeys are fabulous mixologists who believe in outstanding cocktails, one of a kind bars and impeccable service. Their mobile bars transport guests to a world of fun, with a great drink in hand!

With a passion for bloody brilliant food and impeccable event planning and styling, Doggart & Squash took over our kitchen and treated our guests to the most delicious canapés. Our guests had the chance to chat to their amazing team for not just for menu inspiration but also how to create the ultimate wedding breakfast table.

Sophie Tilley is a makeup artist and beauty writer, based in London. Having worked in the industry for over twelve years, Sophie gained her experience with companies like SpaceNK and Shu Uemura. Sophie has been involved in TV shows (both behind and in front of the camera), music videos and London Fashion Week. Weddings are something of a speciality, with her work being published in Conde Nast 'Brides', 'Harpers Bazaar', 'Perfect Wedding' and 'Your London Wedding' Magazines. Sophie was on hand to answer all your burning questions about how to create the ultimate wedding day look.

For Bridesmaids fashion, look no further than Rewritten. Rewritten was created in 2016 by friends Katie Arnott and Frances Cookson, who, frustrated by the choice of bridesmaid dresses out there, decided to create their own. Luckily Frances is a fashion designer and Katie has some pretty crazy business skills. Designed for all of those awesome bridesmaids out there, their dresses are chic, sophisticated and take an entirely modern approach to bridal wear. The entire collection is hand-designed in London where they create contemporary designs in the most beautiful fabric and colour combinations. We were lucky enough to have a peak of their new collection on the night.

Davina Combe also joined us, Davina is a London jewellery designer, who creates jewellery to be worn not just on your wedding day but every day. Whether it is colour-popping stacking rings, elegant earrings with interchangeable pendants or classic and distinctive necklaces, Davina's timeless designs exude everyday elegance and classic charm.

At WPC we know there are so many details which go towards creating the ultimate day. This includes the smaller details, like calligraphy and beautiful candles.

Bable is the colourful, kooky home of hand-painted candles. From zesty lemons to fiery chillies and purr-fect prints, each Bable candle is unique and hand-painted in London using toxic-free acrylics. Whilst working as a primary school teacher, Bianca spent a sunny weekend playing around painting candles in the garden. Bold and bright, she wrapped them up as a gift and took them to a friend’s dinner party. Et voilà, Bable was born!

Just Lissy Designs is a modern calligraphy studio based in London, started by Alicia Deakin (AKA Lissy). Lissy started learning calligraphy whilst living in Florence, inspired by all the beautiful artworks of the Italian renaissance and the countless family run stationery shops. She now offers her stunning calligraphy for weddings and events.

Capturing the evening, storyteller Chloë Winstanley’s inclusive style draws attention to both big and small moments, crafting images which not only reflect her couples happiness, but most importantly the atmosphere and soul of your wedding. Chloe’s intuitive and calm demeanour enables her to subtly guide couples, whilst giving them the space and confidence to completely be themselves. Chloë draws on the unique setting which each environment offers; from the charming Cotswolds countryside to Grecian coastal sunsets and historical Scottish castles.

Life and soul of the party, Boomerang Booth bring instant, shareable fun to your hen do or wonderful wedding day with their compact, digital Boomerang Photo Booth. The laughter was infections, and we had such fun watching our guests create instant selfie photos and Boomerang video clips of themselves, what's even better is they could immediately shares all the fun by texting the images to their phone.

Now, we don't like to brag, but we think this might have been one of our best goody bags yet, with pampering treats from Issy Granger, Jo Malone and Bramley, together with an out-of-this-world cockail from The Drunken Jockeys and the most moreish brownie from Doggart & Squash. Not to mention exclusive discounts to some of the best of the best in the industry.
